By simply placing an object on screen, bring up menus, images, videos, or any content of your choice. Use the orientation of the object to select from a segmented menu around the object and open up specific related content. With active pucks, pick them up off the table and use them in joystick mode!
Use multiple objects on the screen at the same time with our object recognition-ready solutions, allowing multiple users to engage with the screen. Using objects on screen feels natural alongside traditional touch interactions such as swiping and tapping.
Collect numerous amounts of data, such as frequency of interactions, duration of interactions, and any user inputs captured during the interaction. Forms could pop up based on the object’s orientation, allowing users to input their details, sign up for mailing lists, send themselves files and more!

How does Object Recognition Technology work?
Promultis Object Recognition works with projected capacitive (PCAP) technology. The capacitive touchscreen is activated by human touch, or, in this case, conductive tags, which serve as a conductor to stimulate the electrostatic field of the touchscreen. The object is recognised when the tags interfere with the electric field projected above the surface. This change in capacitance is detected by the controller which interprets the X and Y coordinates of the event.
Do I need a battery for the objects?
Our passive pucks require no power or battery. They are passive, which gives them much more flexibility and durability. Our active pucks have a battery and allow for wireless and wired charging, with a USB C cable.
